Hard to believe 53 years have passed, especially as I now head towards the door myself. I wish you could have been in my life longer, but you were taken so cruelly early in your own life. You will always be in my life, though not physically and I would do anything to see you once more. I could certainly do with some guidance on being a father, with the difference being you were taken from my life, whereas it's very difficult that your only grandchild doesn't want her father in her life.
